    It's an exciting time to be part of IFF, you will collaborate closely with Global Product Manager (GPM) & Global BDM Food Protection . You will be a strong player to help define and execute the Food Protection growth strategy in Greater Asia.

    You will own the resulting growth plans with a specific focus of enabling development of new markets and application areas and drive validation of these. Build and support execution of the opportunity pipeline for Food Protection in collaboration with the regional sales, marketing and IC&D teams as well as our distribution network.

    HOW YOU WILL LEAD AND CONTRIBUTE

    Lead pipeline development activities for SBU Food Protection together with regional IC&D Food Protection lead; specific focus on new application areas/customers/products vs market / application needs:

    • Regional 'execution' arm of BU strategy and growth initiatives. Ensures alignment with sales.

    • Work with IC&D team, Category /Industry teams and Sales Managers as appropriate to drive cross regional promotion of local concepts and solutions between sub-regions and across applications.

    • Work with the Regional Regulatory team to address issues and overcome roadblocks to the growth in the Region, as well as planning the ́Regulatory Strategy ́

    • Work with regional category/marketing teams to scope new markets and identify new customer

    Support BU & regional teams to execute FP growth initiatives in the GA region:

    • Provide regional perspective to global initiatives including new product development

    • Global VOC in GA to validate, support and strengthen NPD value propositions

    • Training on products for internal teams and distribution partners

    • Support in key customer meetings to advance pipeline

    • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs

    • Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events

    WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL


    • At least 10 years' experience in food ingredients Industry

    • Technical expertise & experience with food microbiology & oxidation (Master's degree or equivalent)

    • Energetic self-starter with a "can do" attitude, high degree of autonomy and flexibility. Willing to look beyond existing scope of job.

    • Growth mindset - ability to develop and maintain strong market insights - leverage market and competitive intelligence to capture growth opportunities.

    • Understanding of food ingredients industry markets and applications and uses of the products to recommend appropriate technical solutions to customer problems.

    • A strong background in product management and expertise in Food Protection solutions, experience with antimicrobials and antioxidants is an advantage

    • People orientation - can orchestrate multiple teams/players across functions and matrixes and gets everybody to pull in the same direction. Connects people from different parts of the organization and builds strong relationships at all levels.

    • Fluent in English & familiar with interacting with different cultural background
