- To lead a team of biologists, responsible for team expansion, training, and its daily operation. To enforce and meet EH&S and other operational requirement.
- To optimize the current assay platform and develop new capabilities to meet market demands.
- To maintain and expand customer base globally. Promote platform service through collaboration with business development and marketing teams.
- To work as a team with colleagues across various functions (at department, division, and company levels) in client service as well as capability buildup.
- Effectively communicate and interface with worldwide business partners, develop and maintain excellent business relationship with internal and external clients.
- Provide scientific support to BDs and clients and deal with inquiries on WuXi Biology in vitro capabilities and data packs, working closely with the global team.
- PhD in biological sciences, with more than 5 years of relevant industrial experience.
- A strong publication record in molecular and cell biology research. Demonstrated experience in experimental design and execution in industrial setting.
- Hands-on experiences in cellular and biochemical assays. In-depth knowledge of cellular signal pathways and familiar with cutting-edge technologies
- Demonstrated communication skills in both English and Chinese
- Capable of working with a large customer base and a dynamic supporting team to deliver strong business growth
- Strong leadership and people management skill in industrial setting
- Overseas education and working experience
- Experience in big CRO companies is a plus
