    We are currently ‎seeking a Business Development Manager based on our HQ offices, The BDM will be working based in Shenzhen, and will oversee Promate business operations in East Asia markets.

    He will serve as the custodian of the products offering in the country under his ‎control and is responsible for ensuring that all activities in relation to sales and business development ‎issues are consistent with the brand image and proven methodologies.


    The BDM is ‎responsible for everything pertaining to the Retailer account he is managing, including, Sales, Marketing, Merchandizing, Training, Store Management, Promoter team Management, Customer Service, budgets etc.; ‎Overall, He must be a person who has more than a financial interest and understands what makes a ‎company with a brand to grow.



    Requirements:


    • No less than 5 years of practical retail, ecommerce and distribution sales experience in the East Asia markets.‎
    • Familiarity with the market situation, Retail Channel, distribution channels and competitors.‎
    • ‎Experience in Developing quarterly and yearly sales strategies. ‎
    • ‎Convincing personality, natural authority.‎
    • Ability to perform well under pressure
    • ‎Flexibility, ability to work under pressure, and a prevailing attitude.‎
    • ‎IT Background with familiarity with computer and consumer electronics products and technology
    • Develops a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
    • Responsible for the performance and development of the sales force.
    • Prepares action plans by individuals as well as by team for effective search of sales leads and prospects.
    • Preparing sales forecast, inventory and product sales management.
    • Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
    • Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.
    • Conducts one-on-one review with all showroom managers and staff to build more effective communications, to understand training and development needs, and to provide insight for the improvement of Sales Executives and activity performance.
    • Provides timely feedback and reports to senior management.
    • Provides timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.
    • Maintains accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports submitted by Account Executives.
    • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team

    • Demonstrate an ability to build and/or establish relationships with retail, ecommerce and wholesale accounts.
    • Meet or exceed sales and profit goals established by senior management.
    • Exhibit strong leadership skills and motivate sales team to perform their duties in excellent fashion.
    • Strive to increase net sales by reducing Returns and Allowances where appropriate.
    • Collaborate with other team members to ensure best practices and information are shared to maximize results and achieve goals.
    • Provide customer recaps for all meetings and take a leadership role to ensure all action items are executed upon including delegation of assignments to channel support representatives.
    • Assist sales team with all account related questions, issues, and concerns.
    • Analyze and understand industry market trends, competition, products, and pricing that may impact sales efforts and communicate this information to management and other departments as necessary.
    • Assist in optimizing profitability at each assigned account.
    • Conduct sales and training meetings as required. Attend all required meetings.
    • Review and analyze daily sales and compare actual vs. projected; plan results and be prepared to present that information when requested.
    • Recognize and escalate all critical issues regarding accounts and/or company policies to management immediately.
    • Provide positive reinforcement and constructive criticism to team members and escalate any issues as they arise.
    • Travel to tradeshows and customer sites required. Depending on assignment, international travel may be required.
    • Learn and remain proficient on the Promate product lines.
    • Conduct self in professional and courteous manner.
    • Take full responsibility for individual actions.
    • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
    • Understand and follow company rules and regulations.
    • Perform all other duties as assigned and required.
