    The purpose of this role is to proactively prepare and lead business user through the impact of changes being delivered through transformation initiatives.

    Planning Manager

    Job Description:


    Key responsibilities:

    • Change Management Leadership and Delivery. Leads the business change activity and work with the programme/ project to support delivery of the Business Case benefits and outcomes, through use of change management best practice and the provision of change management-based expert advice for programme/ project team members and the project community
    • Business Case and Benefits Identification. Leads the identification and definition of the change management elements of the Business Case, including qualitative and quantitative benefits which will be delivered as an outcome of the programme/ project
    • Business Change Products. Supports the programme/ project manager through creation of the required business change products, ensuring change products are fit for purpose and are used appropriately within the programme/ project
    • Impact Analysis and Change Planning. Creates and maintains a business impact analysis for the programme/ project, identifying key mitigation elements to be applied to increase readiness and adoption levels; owns the change plan for the programme/ project and integrate within the overall programme/ project plan
    • Business Readiness and Adoption Management. Identifies, agrees and communicates business readiness criteria and adoption measures in the lead up to implementation, supports the tracking of these criteria, reports/ updates on readiness and adoption levels and takes remediation action where required
    • Stakeholder Engagement. Works with the programme/ project to identify required stakeholder engagement and communications (including key leadership roles), develops and maintains engagement plans and related content. Drives pertinent engagement activity as per agreed plan
    • Knowledge Support and Development. Identifies stakeholder knowledge development requirements needed as a result of the programme/ project change being introduced; develops a capability uplift plan identifying the interventions required; manages the execution of knowledge development (including the preparation of content). Provides business change management-related guidance and direction to the programme/ project team members
