Our dedicated colleagues serve millions of customers worldwide across the entire spectrum of private wealth, ranging from personal banking for individuals and families, through to business owners, investors and ultra-high-net-worth individuals. We provide products and services such as bank accounts, credit cards, personal loans and mortgages, as well as asset management, insurance, wealth management and private banking, that best suit our customers' needs.
We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.
In this role, you will:
•Drive Omni/Network optimisation by co-work with business teams, local and global CS/WPB teams.
•Prepare business case and financial analysis for Omni/Network optimisation and other key projects.
•Handle CS/CRE cost and CAPEX planning to support Omni/Network optimisation.
•Manage Cost, including CMU (cost management unit) line cost analysis and monitoring, cost control and deep dive analysis, etc.
•Coordinate monthly cost accrual/reversal/adjustment, and accrual balance review/tracking.
•Prepare related MI and meeting pack for business planning purpose.
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
•Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Economics, Finance or other related field preferred.
•Strong managerial, analytical, communications, lateral thinking, influencing and interpersonal skills.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Hands-on computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
•Excellent analysis and problem solving capabilities
•Outstanding relationship management, collaboration and influencing skills
•Educated to post-graduate degree level in Accountancy, Finance or related field
•Strong financial analytical background and proven ability in financial/analytical reasoning
•Demonstrated business knowledge, outstanding understanding of HSBC structures, processes and objectives across the Group
•Outstanding knowledge of the external environment – regulatory, political, competitors etc.
•Outstanding knowledge of WPB – functionally, operationally and financially
•Proven experience of positive, challenging interactions with Senior Executives across the business and WPB
•Practical experience of major business transformation activities
