- For assigned scope and spend threshold, support Procurement Manager to identify cost optimization opportunities, drive purchasing process and strategy compliance, and track value in cost/quality/service achieved through contract negotiation and bidding processes including:
- Lead the RFI/RFP process for goods and services in accordance with company policy and procedures.
- Maintain regular and appropriate internal and external communications throughout the Procurement process.
- Perform data analysis to analyze the total cost of ownership of submitted proposals.
- Lead the commercial and legal agreement negotiation strategies for assigned contracts.
- Lead change management activities in support of the sourcing process.
- Develop and implement cost structure template for Deckers business needs where necessary.
- Administration of contract lifecycle management process.
- Assist with procurement policy and system training including creation and communication of training documents and maintenance of training resources in APAC region.
- Superuser in APAC to coordinate account setup and management of new and existing iProcurement users and vendors, troubleshoot and resolve issues for ongoing Purchase Requisition and Purchase Order.
- Prepare APAC monthly iProcurement spend report to track spend by category and by vendor.
- Timely update RFP boards in Procurement software
- Assist new Procurement tool and function implementation in APAC region.

The Sr Procurement Specialist will support APAC Procurement Manager in developing, executing, and managing sourcing initiative for all non-trade categories in APAC. They will collaborate with business stakeholders from various functional areas including Marketing, Retail, Supply Chain, IT to identify opportunities for value improvement with competitive bidding, contract negotiation, and purchasing process compliance efforts. The position will be based in Shanghai reporting to the APAC Procurement Manager.
70% Support implementation of sourcing strategies initiatives including:
20% Assist with maintenance and support of the Oracle iProcurement system and P2P process in APAC, including:
5% Utilize Procurement Software for RFP process management.
5% Assist with maintenance and support of Deckers Travel Program in APAC.
