Job Summary
The Production Lead-Technical Entertainment is responsible for assisting supervisor and assistant technical manager with the technical aspects of assigned entertainment venue or events ensuring show quality and a positive guest experience.
Major Responsibilities
• Supervise team members to perform all types of operations in accordance with standard operation procedures and to ensure safety and show quality. Process a high level of professional skills, management skills and accurate judgment.
• Provide timely and comprehensive support to department operations, report progress and issues in a timely manner, and participate in cross-departmental communications as necessary to coordinate efforts and effectively resolve issues.
• Lead all technical Team members in orderly performance operations within the assigned venue to meet show needs. Communicate within the team in a high-quality manner and be the first to handle on-site situations.
• Attend all assigned training sessions and take advantage of educational opportunities to improve and enhance working performance. Conduct training for team members to improve and enhance the working performance of the team. Maintain the right direction of innovation and always ensure the high efficiency.
• Lead show crews to actively participate in Environmental Health & Safety responsibilities following established UBR policies, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Good communication skills, positive work attitude and excellent teamwork and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in the operation or maintenance of electrical systems, software, and related equipment, with a strong ability to deal with float's failures during the show.
• The candidate must have a relatively in-depth knowledge of control systems such as Schneider, Siemens, PLC, WEIGIL, servo (mechanical effects) and DC motors, power modules and lithium batteries, as well as a lot of operation or maintenance experience daily.
• Tools such as multimeters, soldering station, ironing and electrical connection making.
• After training, be able to operate and maintain mobile elevating Work Platforms such as mobile platforms, boom lifts, scissors, etc.
• Have a motor vehicle driver's license (C1 and above) , and be able to drive cars skillfully.
• Microsoft Office and Management experience required. Technical Entertainment Discipline Knowledge is required (Electrical Control). Knowledge of CAD, Scope Writing, Problem Solving, Written & Oral Communication skills, Leading and Motivating teams.
Education
College diploma or GED preferred. Diploma from a college, university or professional skill educational school in Technical Entertainment or equivalent experience of a minimum of 5 years within the Theme Park or Cruise line, and the other technical entertainment industries preferred.
