Job Summary
Assists guests with stroller and wheelchair rentals along with the sale of additional add-on products. Individuals are also responsible for luggage services operations checking and storing guest's luggage at various locations around the resort. Assist guests with Locker services including renting and retrieving. Sells various theme park ticket products and additional add on products to enhance the guest experience at the Universal Beijing Resort. Money management and till balance will be required in all areas.
Major Responsibilities
Assists with processing transactions for the sale of rentals products such as strollers and wheelchairs throughout multiple resort locations while practicing proper money handling procedures and ensuring the accuracy of funds.
Assists guests with the storage and return of luggage throughout multiple resort locations while practicing proper money handling procedures and ensuring the accuracy of funds. Lifting and storing luggage will be part of daily routine.
Assists guests with the Locker services throughout multiple resort locations while practicing proper money handling procedures and ensuring the accuracy of funds.
Engage guests by asking open ended questions to identify the guests' need and provide assistance with selection of ticket products. Responsible for upselling guests with additional products and offerings that Universal Beijing resort will offer. Process transactions for the sale of park tickets and other offerings while practicing proper money handling procedures and ensuring the accuracy of money funds.
Maintains cleanliness of sales floor and sanitation of rental products, including the use of cleaning agents. Inspects and maintain inventory of all rental products and ticket products, identifies and reports maintenance issues.
Provides world class guest service while providing relevant theme park and resort information to guests. Assist with crowd control for guest queues in all Rental, Locker, Luggage storage and Ticket Sales areas.
Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established Universal Beijing Resort policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities. Performs other duties as assigned.
UBR SERVICE EXPECTATIONS: Practices the UBR Service Expectations. Adhere to Universal Beijing Resorts appearance and wardrobe guidelines. Provides guests with accurate information. Practices "Look, Focus, Act" by continuously scanning the work environment and recognizing the service needs of guests and fellow Team Members. Takes ownership and demonstrates active listening and effective questioning to identify suitable, personalized options to efficiently meet or preferably exceed the service expectations of our guests or Team Members. Applies service recovery, as warranted.
SCOPE: Assisting guests with stroller and wheelchair rentals along with the sale of additional add-on products. Individuals are also responsible for luggage services operations checking and storing guest's luggage at various locations around the resort. Assists guests with Locker services including renting and retrieving. Sell multiple ticket products, up sell add on products, maintain accurate / balanced money funds, and provide world class service to guests. Money management and till balance will be required in all areas.
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE: 0-1 Year Operations experience preferred. Six months to one year cash handling, guest service and/or front counter experience preferred. English language or equivalent combination of education and experience a plus. Possessed a valid driving license a plus. Basic computer skills such as typing required.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Ability to work with a large team in a fast-paced environment. Ability to quickly adapt to change as required and respond to such change in a positive manner. Must be able to work indoors and outdoors.
This position is a front of house role for an Operation that is open 365 days a year 7 days a week with morning, afternoon, and evening shifts. It will often require the individual to work on holidays and weekends as needed to support the daily business throughout the year.
Education
High school degree or GED.
