Job Summary
We are seeking candidates with accomplished professional experience, curiosity, and desire to learn and grow, demonstrated analytical skills and outstanding academic records to fill the position of Assistant Financial Manager, which is responsible for performing strategic and financial analysis in supporting the short-term and long-term financial success for Universal Beijing Resort.
Major Responsibilities
•Universal Beijing Resort Annual Budget, Quarterly Estimates and 5-year outlook for attendance and admission revenue, related duties:
Assist in preparing plan
Provide qualitative and quantitative analysis in mid and long-term business and financial planning
•Attendance forecast, related duties:
Partner with Operations and Revenue Management on attendance rolling forecast
Facilitate and coordinate the planning process, ensuring all important variables are factored in, including seasonality, holiday shift, park events etc.
Communicate with various business partners on the latest trends
•Flash Reporting, related duties:
Establish statistical modeling capability to understand and validate impact of price changes, competitive change, and promotional product
Collaborate with Revenue Management Team and Accounting Team on analytics for ticket products, including pricing, volume forecasting and channel strategies
•Support Business and Financial Updates to leadership.
Qualifications
•Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Statistics, Computer Science or related major
•Minimum of 8 years of experience in business analysis or statistical analysis related field
•Demonstrated aptitude for data preparation, analytics and interpretation, business problem identification, pattern recognition, and independent problem solving
•Strong attention to detail combined with high-level vision, strategic thinking, strong capability to deal with ambiguity
•Advanced Excel skills are required; SAS programming and Tableau experience is preferred
•Good influencer to multi-function team; Positive attitude and flexibility when faced with fast-paced, complex challenges
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Chinese and English.
Optional Qualifications
•Direct experience in tourism and hospitality industry such as airlines, national tourism organization, hospitality industries
•Computer programming and data mining experience a plus
•MNC experience a plus
Education
•Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Statistics, Computer Science or related major.
