AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success.

AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

The General Business BD team is a key part of the GCR business development, which is positioned as the growth engine for future business in terms of year-on-year growth and new customer acquisition and tier-up.

We're looking for an Engaged BD, in this role, you will have the exciting opportunity to develop key customers, design and execute territory business strategy plans, establish the co-selling mechanism with partners and lead industry vertical plays to scale cover/growth long tail customers.

Key job responsibilities
Develop and execute a business plan for assigned territories, to achieve comprehensive territory business target, meet Acct. tier-up goal, accelerate customer adoption on AWS, deliver revenue and growth goals for territory business success.
Fully leverage the efficiency advantage of digital approach to grow revenue in high-volume customers.
Ensure high customer service for assigned territories.

Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption, work closely with other teams to grow revenue in assigned territories.

Achieve monthly quota of qualified opportunities,manage numerous requests concurrently & strategically and maintain a robust pipeline and related territory target lists in

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree required
A technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS a plus
3+ years of technology related business development or proven experience in business development

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in a business-to-business (B2B) environment, high-tech products/services preferred Proven success managing time and juggling multiple projects in a high growth environment where priorities shift fast
A proven track record of managing multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines and budgets
Superior oral and written communication skills with an innate attention to detail
Experience working in a fast-paced and highly cross-functional organization
