Overview
Microsoft Advertising (MSA) empowers the largest advertisers around the world to reach their maximum potential through digital advertising solutions on the Microsoft Advertising platform. We are seeking top performing Market Development Leads with digital advertising experience who can evangelize Microsoft Advertising in the market and develop strong relationships with key brands and agencies across China. The role will report into the Sales Manager in the Software Technology Center Asia (STCA). STCA is deeply involved in the development, innovation and operation of Microsoft's global core products, including the Bing Search engine and the Microsoft Advertising platform. The Market Development Lead will have unparalleled access to product and engineering resources and depth of market insight by reporting into the STCA and will have full global enablement from Microsoft Advertising.

• 10+ years partner management, sales, business development, platform ecosystem/network, or partner channel development in the digital advertising / technology industry
o OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related field AND 8+ years partner management, sales, business development, platform ecosystem/network, or partner channel development in the technology industry
o OR equivalent experience.
• 5+ years experience with planning, budgeting, and other project management activities.

In the business of Microsoft Advertising, this role will own the relationship and revenue quota from the China Cross-Border Agencies.
Relationship Building and Management
• Sets the tone for collaboration with internal teams and partners. Inspires, empowers, and leverages internal teams to provide expert guidance as trusted advisors to partners. Coaches others to develop and share overall business plans for partners with relevant stakeholders. Proactively identifies and resolves conflicts among internal teams and stakeholders.
• Leads teams to sell newer, modern solutions and services ecosystem to partners to drive Microsoft's mission beyond selling solutions that only focus on revenue. Coaches teams on using different techniques to upsell and cross-sell products and services, and on articulating the impact of modern solution ecosystem.
• Serves as a thought leader in the industry and creates opportunities for others to represent Microsoft at internal and external events to strengthen networks and remain abreast on industry, competitor, and market trends. Ensures learning from the events are landed across their teams and integrates feedback across teams to provide input and feedback to influence and improve overall event strategy. Capitalizes on events as opportunities to coach account managers to develop thought leadership and to identify talent.
• Ensures teams leverage understanding of the assortment of Microsoft's offerings. Leads teams to influence partners to make decisions that will drive joint business outcomes. Facilitates collaboration with teams in Microsoft Consumer Business (MCB) to share accountabilities. Coaches teams on One Microsoft value propositions.
