- Provides first line engineering support to ensure production
- Initiates production escalations, executes problem solving related to manufacturing processes, tools and equipment
- Prepares, plans and executes Capex projects for repeat equipment
- Obtains and installs repeat equipment at site
- Implements LCM design changes in their site
- Accountable for integrity of Masterdata
- Identifies and executes improvements in manufacturing processes, tools and equipment. This for quality and efficiency improvements
- Applies lean manufacturing principles
- Supports and applies new technologies in factories
- Employs equipment, practices, and procedures which promote a healthy, safe, and secure work environment
- Executes the processes and standards with embedded quality into the way of working including adherence to compliance with safety, Cost regulatory- and environmental requirements as well as local laws , Philips General Business principles and other policies
- Defines, executes and controls validation activities in LCM.
- Performs technical analysis and participates in feasibility studies.
- Driving current state and future state roadmap factory/VSM.
- Operations involvement in PDLM by providing input into manufacturing requirements and gate reviews
- Responsible for the performance of processes, tools and equipment after project hand-over is completed (catching)
- Provides expert support in outsourced product industrialization and change implementation
- Education: Bachelor degree or above in mechanics and/or electronics on industrial automation engineering.
- Experience: more than 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering. Experience on muti-varieties and small batch manufacturing is preferred.
