- Support and develop petrochemical analytics products using data management, industry analysis, and preparation of written content.
- Maintain and publish models each month to forecast industry prices.
- Provide input on economic and statistical modelling methodology.
- Consolidate regional information from internal teams and incorporate into your analysis.
- Develop expertise within a particular area of petrochemicals such as olefins, polymers or aromatics.
- Support business development and marketing initiatives.
- The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degreeora Master'spreferablyinEngineering,Economics,Finance or industry-related fieldsfrom a reputable university.
- 1-2 years of prior experiencewithin Price Reporting Agencies (PRAs), consulting firms or within the energy/commodity/petrochemical industries will beadvantageousto the role.
- Highly numerate with ability to analyse data quickly and meticulously with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Interest in and enthusiasm for commodities, energy markets, global business, politics and economics.
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with MicrosoftWord, Excel andPowerPoint.Proficient inExcel-advanced data manipulation commands, pivot tables and VBA macros.
- Experiencewithor eager to learnSQL databases and R or Python programming languages
- Able to work independently as a self-starterand alsocollaborate with our teams located in other locations.
