    Main Tasks:

    Governance:

    • Coordinate the internal audits on RBU functions and to develop improvement cum action plans in case of process deficiencies.
    • Support internal audits at country level including ZVSP and JV entities. To work together with local Business Management to address any identified issues and to design the corrective/ preventive measures.
    • Ensure BASF internal policies and guidelines (such as Anti-Trust Law, Anti-Money Laundry Act) are properly communicated and followed within A-CPA.
    • Liaison with BASF tax, legal, cross BUs and JV counterparts in case of needs.
    Compliance

    • Responsible for CP Asia ICTP (Inter-Company Transfer Pricing) processes (incl. documentation, calculation methodology alignment with Regional / Global OD ICTP Office for special cases, tax audit coordination, ICTP guideline compliance).
    • Responsible for Non-Trade Business Transactions planning, contract preparation, handling monthly cost chargeouts.
    • Manage charges to receiving BUs for CP's delegated procurement services.
    • Coordinate RBU Cost Sharing Agreement ("CSA") Processes, update actual/forecast data in CSA tool and perform billing according to the Global schedule.
    • Coordinate yearly CSA compliance documentation requirement. Ensure proper CSA documentations are in place and can be made available to internal/external auditors on short notice.
    • Ensure all service agreements and related documents are archived in central contract management database. Train users and foster their understanding/awareness for their respective tasks and perform quality assurance through half yearly cross checks.
    Excellence Programs

    • Foster continuous improvement at CP Asia, coordinating global or regional excellence programs at A-CP/A, monitor the realization of cost saving potentials and synergies through process optimization/reengineering.
    • Ensure saving potentials tracked and reported with sufficient supporting.
    • Conduct deep dive on the function services and allocations from country platforms. Define the right level of services fitting for commodity business.
    • Crosssite costs benchmarking. Proactively identify areas for improvement via site performance check and drive implementation.
    • Analyze business processes, identify improvement areas and propose sustainable solutions.
    Ad-hoc Tasks

    • Ad hoc support for global/ regional compliance related projects and/ or strategic/ improvement project

    Requirements:

    • University Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting or Businessrelated subjects
    - >5 years relevant working experience in business controlling, Finance or Accounting in chemical, technology or manufacturing industry

    • Experience in commodity chemicals is a plus.
    • Professional finance and accounting knowledge
    • Good command of written and spoken English
    • High customer focus
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills
