- The role of the VES Asia Pacific Director is three-fold; one being and entrepreneurial business executive and second being the Engineering Technology thought leader and the third is being a key contributing member of the VES Leadership Team.
- As Entrepreneurial Business Leader , you will be expected to grow the HV wiring business profitably with the goal of achieving the market leader position for Aptiv.Achieve high revenue bookings globally each year with significant year over year growth. Growth over Market will be the driving metric.Seek out HV wiring opportunities in all areas of electrification; vehicle wiring, propulsion wiring and battery pack wiringWork collaboratively with each customer team to win as one teamBe the voice of electrification internally and externallyBe a visible, positive, inspirational leader to your reginal team in order to bring out the very best potential from each individual
- As Engineering Technology Thought leader , think of yourself as the Chief Technical Officer (CTO) for the reginal HV wiring businessNeed to create opportunities to scope out new HV architectures and associated products...everything from 48V to 800V's and beyond.Be technically savvy and be intimately involved in engineering product development projectsDevelop and deploy HV wiring manufacturing processes and equipment. Drive the automation strategy and ensure manufacturing competitiveness
- Think outside the box and encourage new thinking on products, processes, and adjacent markets
- Constantly be looking for new Content per Vehicle (CPV) opportunities for VES and Aptiv. Any new CPV will be view very positively by the corporation and investors
- Work collaboratively on technology with our colleagues in HV Connection Systems and look for synergies to create HV systems vs. stand along components.
- As Key Member of the VES Leadership Team Support the VES global head to ensure their success and the success of VES teamProvide strategy and revenue documents ahead of time for MBRs, QBRs, etc.Motive the VES organization to be positive and forward thinking and the model by which all other businesses get is a VES TraditionCollaborate mightily with your VES colleagues – share ideas openly and seek to win as one team and propel VES forward to achieve great things
