    Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
    To carry out the SEA action plan in the supply chain, involving audit/monitoring, advisory, and capacity building for suppliers, as well as implementing social compliance projects.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Assist Line Manager in implementing SEA policies and work programs in the specified country
    • Audit factories and create action plans to ensure compliance with SEA standards. Oversee the external audit process in business partners' factories in the designated country/countries.
    • Support business partners in remediation efforts by providing advice, negotiating timeframes, sharing best practices, and facilitating access to necessary expertise and resources.
    • Engage adidas Sourcing staff and factory management in the country to embed SEA requirements into adidas' business practices.
    • Report problems and issues promptly to all relevant parties. Submit monthly reports to the Line Manager as per reporting deadlines.
    • Share news, issues, and initiatives from the LO with the Line Manager in a timely and clear manner.
    • Stay informed about labor and HS legislation in the designated country/countries and update the Line Manager accordingly. Discuss updates with senior factory management and SEA team members.
    • Establish connections and communicate with local NGOs, government entities, and professional organizations to advance the goals and transparency of the SEA program.

    Key Relationships:
    • LO Sourcing Directors and other relevant functions in Asia
    • Top management and social compliance team of suppliers
    • Business unit managers, legal counsel, international/local NGOs, trade unions, and government officials in labor, social welfare, safety, and environmental agencies
    • Other senior managers in the SEA Global team

    Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
    • Understanding of Labor and Health & Safety Standards, as well as local regulations
    • Knowledge of adidas' business operations, particularly sourcing activities in the region
    • Proficient written and verbal English communication skills
    • Effective communication internally and externally on data and controversial topics
    • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to maintain relationships and handle tough situations diplomatically

    Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
    • University Degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Human Resource Management, Law, or related fields
    • Minimum of 6 years' progressive experience in the manufacturing industry, focusing on compliance, with at least 3 years in occupational health & safety
    • Strong written communication skills in various styles and languages
    • Language proficiency in local dialects and English
    • Presentation skills for diverse audiences in formal and informal settings
