- Set up Business Excellence(BE) Framework so that cross-site activities related to Operational Excellence/Lean/ BPM and other excellence initiatives are organized as a holistic system.
- Setup BE framework with well defined structure, core elements and evaluation criteria.
- Utilize the framework to assess site business excellence status, identify gaps and develop excellence roadmap.
- Initiate and manage projects/initiatives along the roadmap by applying Agile/Lean/BPM etc. methodology and tools, to continuously improve each core element of the framework.
- As a member of the Global Operations Lean team, leverage global mindsets, knowledge, resources to local implementation and contribute to the Global Operations network through pro-actively participating in global initiatives.
- Manage Site Project Portfolio and Continuous Improvement (CI) Portfolio with standardized processes by establishing projects life cycle management, so that the site has clear visibility of key projects landscape, resource allocation, site risk management, project progress and tangible result and can prioritize projects and make the best use of resources to bring business value and achieve strategic goals.
- Promote Global CI Platform in site to consolidate site CI idea management.
- Establish a standard process to manage Site Project Portfolio and CI projects. (Process like Project intake, nomination, monitoring, closing, archive etc.) and continuously improve the process efficiency and effectiveness by business needs.
- Provide coordination, facilitation or consultation to functional or cross functional teams to ensure the corresponding CI projects successful delivery.
- Build up CI community and cultivate CI mindsets at site, so that people are living the CI mindsets in daily practice continuously.
- Lead Site CI squad team to drive site continuous improvement & improvement based innovation.
- Organize Annual CI camp or similar program/events to enhance CI mindset、methodology、capability of employees and incubate improvement projects that impact to site key business performances (Cost, Lead time, Quality etc. )
- Utilize site culture programs/events/platforms to recognize excellence ideas and projects (All hands meeting/Employee experience day/CI Camp Annual dinner etc.)
- Leverage internal and external resources to deliver necessary training/workshops/consultation to enhance the knowledge and capability of people effectively.
- Set up Operations Performance monitoring and evaluation process with digital solutions, so that Leaship team make effective decision based on in-time and accurate data and information ( data-driven decision making )
- Monitor and lead the review of the key performance indicators; Initiate projects to improve the performance continuously to reach site goal
