- The ability to become the expert at designated accounts and build key relationships
- Extensive experience in a Technical Sales and Project/Program Management function
- Experience using CRM Systems and other IT tools
- Operate in a fast paced team and not be hesitant to push team members to respond and deliver
- Ability to push Business Unit and Organizational departments for fast reply
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Act as Quarterback for Team to keep all activities moving forward at your key accounts
- Interact regularly with International Sales teams
- Work in the field mostly at the customer site and interact daily by with customers
- Manage projects and forecast for existing business and build key relationships with excellent support.
- Use those relationships to gain insight and expand business into areas where spec is open.
- Manage daily reporting, pricing, intelligence and financials and push updates to team and Management
- Be a key member of the International Sales team to lead this account and participate in team events, calls and planning sessions

Job Description
This key position is a sales role on the Mobile & Wearable Device Team, based in the Suzhou or Shenzhen, China office. The MWD group is one of the fastest growing divisions of COGNEX and by nature, the industry it serves operates at a very fast pace. Speed in responding to customer requests is the primary driver in day to day success in this position.
The Global Account Sales Engineer will work directly with the Company's largest and most high profile customers to build strong working relationships, manage daily forecast and demand changes, and seek to grow business opportunities. Excellent organization, meticulous detail, and a "speak-up" manner are required to be successful so no opportunity falls through the cracks and is aggressively pursued by the team to win.
