- Offering technical advice and provides comment on enquiry specifications for customers/channels/Sales Engineers with ABB products/systems/applications. Providing technical support during the technical meeting, product presentations and negotiations
- Performing analytic and diagnostic studies to determine most suitable technical solution to meet customer needs. Proposing technical solutions for complex enquiries
- Preparing and delivering technical presentations and demonstrations for both internal staff and customers on complex product issues
- Offering product/solution/service related training
- Managing the process of translating the training material of the product and training courseware
- Following and collecting customer need and competitor information for R&D
- Supporting product group including Low voltage drive, MV general purpose drive
- Performing other technical tasks related to SD business
- Must have a bachelor's degree or above in Electrical/ Power Electronics
- Minimum 5 years' Engineering experience on drive system. Low voltage drives, Medium voltage drives background are preferred.
- Should possess good communication and problem-solving skills
- Communication/coordination skills cross departments in both Chinese and English is desired
- Should be result-orientated and very responsible with strong ability to solve problems
- Able to travel about a third or half of working days

As a Sales Support Specialist for Motion Business Area in Beijing, China, you will be responsible for supporting the local Sales organization/customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions and prepare technical descriptions of the applied products and technology to support the proposal process.
