- To assist the building service supervisor in the daily operation service of the housing linen, laundry and mail center.
- Provide timely and professional services in accordance with established policy and standards.
- Abide by national laws, administrative regulations, departmental rules and other normative documents, and prohibit any behavior suspected of violating national laws, administrative laws and departmental rules.
- Be familiar with property safety, first aid and fire and emergency procedures and operate equipment safely and sensibly.
- Supervise and manage all kinds of hardware and software equipment of DEPT. to ensure that all equipment is in good working condition.
- Responsible for the daily service operation of the linen, laundry & mail center in TM Housing According to the DEPT. policy to provide related change service and mail issuing to resident employee's, avoid breakage and lost.
- Assist the building service supervisor in the quarterly inventory of linens and uniforms, summarizing and reporting losing reports.
- Assist the supervisor in charge the daily work of each functions.
- Issue linens and uniforms according to established procedures only, i.e. dirty for clean, or first-time application.
- Responsible for the Checking out type C building linen collection and delivery arrangement.
- Inform Supervisor of any un-removable stains, damages or any abuse noticed in checked linens and uniforms.
- For the linens and uniforms that need to be repaired or special treatment, forward it to the seamstress or supervisor for immediate action.
- Supervise and manage all kinds of hardware and software equipment in each function to ensure that all equipment is in good working condition.
- Perform quality inspections to delivered linen and uniforms from the outside laundry,ensure all the linens are processed and return in a timely manner and linen & uniform washing quality meets the standard required by the TM Housing.
- According to the relevant information of the record by the linen & uniform control system, earnestly implement the linen & uniform verification procedures to ensure the safety, accurate and intact into the storeroom of all received items.
- Implement other responsibilities assigned by superior.
- At least 2 years working position in Hotel Industry uniform/linen section. or At least 1 year working position of logistic/storage industry both of logistic and express service company or international brands supermarket.
- Minimum 2 years of related experience in increasingly advanced supervisory roles in housing campus and/or housing environments in higher education.
- Able to operate computer and quick learner.
- Good skill with sewing machine operation experience are preferred.
- Well groomed.
- Communication skills in both written & spoken Chinese, advantage with English language skill of communicate.
- Good skill with mail equipment or mail system software or storage operation experience are preferred.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
- C1 above drive license will be a plus.
- Above Middle School. Diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent technical secondary school, or combination of required working experience to reduce educational requirements appropriately.
