Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you provide excellent customer service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key customers and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with the Google Sales team, you will help set the vision and strategy for how a customer's advertising can reach users across Greater China.

You will work with customers to generalize the demands from the market and initiate scalable solutions to fulfill those customers’ needs at scale by fully leveraging Google’s internal resources including data, technologies, products. etc. You will leverage gaming/apps industry knowledge as well as data insights generated from a wide range of data sources to help to predict the near future in the coming months for gaming/apps industries. Internally, you'll be a critical business partner for a Large Customer Sales team working with senior stakeholders, and you will jointly provide perspective and ensure critical business decisions are made consistently. Externally, you will join impactful industrial events and be an advocate for Google’s point of view for the gaming/apps industry to influence executives at scale.

We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.


  • Recruit, retain, develop and coach an excellent analytical team. Develop and translate vision into strategy, and manage execution across to fully unlock the potential of your team.
  • Work towards strategic business goals associated with the objectives of the Sales team. Help lead strategic planning for different verticals, identifying the biggest customer problems and opportunities for Google and ensure Google is putting the right resources in place to answer the right questions.
  • Build partnerships with internal leaders across various departments. Collaborate across Great China, APAC and global teams to both learn and share best practices and drive broader success.
  • Work with stakeholders, initiate and build scalable solutions to maximize the impacts across most of the customers on sellers’ portfolios.
  • Provide thought leadership to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in strategy consulting, account planning, marketing research and/or marketing.

  • Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing a high performing team.
  • Experience managing first and third-party research and tools.
  • Experience developing influential stories and sales narratives grounded in consumer and industry insight.
  • Industry expertise and understanding of customer value chain. Deep understanding of digital landscape, including digital marketing
  • Excellent analytical skills that include the ability to see granular as well as big-picture issues.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and organizational skills.
