) invites applications to an open-rank tenure-track faculty position in Computation and Design beginning in the academic year We seek a candidate with a terminal degree (PhD/MFA). We seek a candidate with proficiency in 3D modeling and animations and in 3D modeling and animation software(e.g. Blender, Maya, 3ds Max), as well as a strong understanding of game design principles and methodologies, including solid programming skills in languages commonly used in game development, such as C#, C++, or Python.
The capability to foster a collaborative andinnovative learning environment for students interested in computing isessential at DKU, as are the communication skills needed for convening complextechnical concepts to students from different backgrounds.
In order to meetChinese visa requirements, prior to the position start date international(non-Chinese) candidates must have worked full-time (work experience obtainedwhile studying full-time is not considered as full-time work experience) for atleast two years in a relevant area (including post-doctoral work) afterreceiving their Bachelor's degree, or begin their appointment at DKU within 12months of obtaining their master's degree/Ph.D. and without having workexperience between graduation date on master's degree diploma/Ph.D. diploma andposition start date.
