CASTING YOUR PEARLS BEFORE SWINE: DON'T GIVE PEOPLE TOO MUCH OF YOURSELF.
Let's look at this verse in a slightly larger context: “Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces” (Matthew 7:6).
People will come for your reputation in this world, so let's take a look at what this bible verse means in the modern world in regards to trusting people with our words, opinions and hearts. Everyone is not deserving of your time and experiences and those are your pearls.
We are all unique little snowflakes and it is our uniqueness, our identities, our stories that are our pearls and we should not cast them before swine.
