- Conduct a thorough product benchmarking study on available or upcoming products, focusing on customer experience.
- Monitor the market trends for smartphones and related categories, with a keen eye on competitors and consumer preferences.
- Analyze user behavior to guide the design process and ensure a superior user experience.
- Evaluate technical aspects such as camera quality, display, touch sensitivity, audio performance, etc., that could impact user satisfaction.
- Enhance product features by aligning them with customer needs and market demands.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to find optimal technical solutions considering factors like cost, time, and quality, and regularly troubleshoot any issues.
- Foster strong relationships with various teams including Engineering, Purchasing, Operation, Marketing, and Sales.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in marketing, business administration, or a related field; an engineering background with an MBA is a plus.
- Previous experience in product marketing, management, project management, market research, or consulting is highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with technology-related media, particularly smartphones, and a track record of impartial product reviews.
- Strong strategic and analytical abilities to grasp market dynamics and devise successful growth strategies.
- Excellent collaboration skills to work across different functions and communicate effectively at all levels.
- Proficient in English with good MS Office skills; adept at presenting information convincingly.
- Must be proactive, eager to learn, goal-oriented, team player, and accountable for results.
