- Structure the building of the panel: participate in the definition and the implementation of the purchasing panel policy for assigned commodities, manage supplier selection according to Group criteria
- Panel management: ensure a regular follow-up of the supplier performance in relation with the Supplier Quality Assurance Manager and implement a supplier¿s reduction plan consistent with Divisions and in coordination with the Business Groups
- Manage the global suppliers productivity in relation with plant buyers
- Develop and implement tools to improve global productivity
- Negotiate and implement general agreements with the main suppliers
- Ensure the utilisation of the panel by program and plant buyers
- Ensure the reporting of his or her activities following defined policies
- Other tasks assigned by team / Manager
- Masters degree in engineering with a specialisation in international purchasing
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Commodity Buyer in an industrial environment
- Results orientation with strong written and oral communications skills
- Ability to work in a matrixed organisation
- International mind set, overseas experience a plus
- Bi/multi-lingual (English required)
