- Support commodity to building suppliers panel: attribute status to suppliers, decrease number of suppliers if necessary, identify suppliers we aim to grow as partners, manage supplier selection based on Group criteria
- Manage T&E sourcing, issue LON, create CW, manage PR, PO and payment with suppliers, follow up supplier development and handle all emergency situations to ensure program timing
- Ensure effective panel management: maintain regular follow-up of suppliers' performances with all users and divisions
- Negotiate and implement general agreements with the main suppliers of each commodity
- This senior buyer will coordinate & ensure appropriate responses from suppliers to all requests and needs for overseas Divisions and plants
- Ideally university with major degree in Engineering
- Full fluency in written and oral English
- Purchasing or Industrial experience in tools, equipment's (preferably in injections, welding, slush, foaming… areas)
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Buyer in an industrial environment
- Results oriented with strong written and oral communications skills generally
- Ability to work in a matrixed organization in an International Group
- International mind set, overseas experience a plus
- Proven ability to evaluate, negotiate and select suppliers (especially on technical criteria)
- Proven ability to work with engineering, industrial topics, and people
- Proven ability to plan, develop, and implement purchasing policies and procedures
- Capable of setting, administering contracts and ensuring their implementation
