    Kunshan University (DKU) invites applications to an open-rank tenure-track faculty position in Computation and Design beginning in the academic year We seek a candidate with a terminal degree (MFA or Ph.D.). The successful candidate should have proficiency and strong technical skills in creative computing platforms (such as Unity, Unreal Engine, and other relevant software) and XR technologies, e.g., Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR), and engage broadly in Interaction Design and Human-Computer Interaction.

    The capability to foster a collaborative andinnovative learning environment for students interested in computing isessential at DKU, as are the communication skills needed for convening complextechnical concepts to students from different backgrounds.

    In order to meetChinese visa requirements, prior to the position start date international(non-Chinese) candidates must have worked full-time (work experience obtainedwhile studying full-time is not considered as full-time work experience) for atleast two years in a relevant area (including post-doctoral work) afterreceiving their Bachelor's degree, or begin their appointment at DKU within 12months of obtaining their master's degree/Ph.D. and without having workexperience between graduation date on master's degree diploma/Ph.D. diploma andposition start date.

    The DKU campus is 37miles west of Shanghai in Kunshan, and is connected to Shanghai via an18-minute high-speed train and a subway-light rail train system.
