- Understand China children reading market and children culture marco-market environment, in order to contribute on China bilingual publishing plans/proposals.
- Plan bilingual publishing projects by liaising between the local team and the regional pub/production team.
- Coordinate with internal/external stakeholders to contribute to financial analysis of projects, and coordinate on production.
- Closely work with external translators/authors/illustrators and internal editors to deliver the proofs for management review.
- Manage local publishers connections to ensure publishing procedures are compliant and complete.
- Provide editorial support on book launch/promotion events by requests from management and marketing team.
- Ad-hoc bilingual reading related works assigned by team leader and management.
- A Diploma or master's level language education related professional qualification
- At least 4 years in children's reading or culture/publishing industry. Experience in managing editorial projects or leading children's reading project design is preferred.
- Experience in children's publishing and/or an licensed editor preferred.
- Fluent mastery of both English and Mandarin Chinese, as well as mature with excellent written and verbal communication.
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong ability to prioritize, and deadline driven.
- Excellent organizational and follow-up skills with the ability to multitask.
- Exceptional organization and time management skills.
- Having a strong understanding of the children's reading industry.
- Stay up-to-date with trends and changes in children's education and entertaining industry.
