Amazon's Global Sourcing team is looking for customer-obsessed interns to lead initiatives that automate sourcing workflow and project audit, enable supply chain resilience and supplier capability utilization, and improve our product development efficiency for our Private Label business.
The successful candidate will enjoy diving deep into data, identifying insights and developing analysis on a sub-category level or developing data tools for process efficiency improvement.
The ideal candidate must be self-driven and have the analytical horsepower to break down complex problems, and a strong will to get things done and deliver results.
Finally, the candidate must also be a strong communicator, with the ability to communicate concisely and effectively.WHAT WILL YOU GAIN?

DELIVERABLES
-\tComplete the tasks assigned by the hiring manager: constantly optimize an existing data dashboard/ reporting, improve data automation, set up a centralized data repository, etc.
-\tCollaborate with functional teams such as Sourcing Managers, Technology, Business Intelligence to help either launch new initiatives or enhance existing ones.
-\tDeliver analysis documents regarding responsible initiatives.
Key job responsibilities
-\tTo enable supply chain resilience, support the sourcing initiatives by constantly optimizing the existing data-based tool and develop a holistic analytics dashboard to provide more insights for Sourcing Managers.
-\tPartner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to drive alignment and complete initiatives/deliverables on-time
-\tLaunch automation audit solution for workflow sub-tasks and launched business
-\tConduct the industry landscape research on selected product types for categories, including product portfolio analysis, vendor capability mapping, and product manufacturing landscape research (both qualitative and quantitative)
-\tAssist Sourcing Managers on supplier data analyzing, auditing, or reporting

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
-\tGraduate between Dec 2024 to Sept 2025, currently working towards a Bachelors (BS) or Masters (MS) in Data Science, Marketing, Economics, Business Management, Finance, or Information Management (or similar field)
-\tHigh attention to detail, comfortable with "hands-on" management of tasks, and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
-\tExcellent written and oral communication skills in English
-\tProficient in SQL, Python, and Excel
-\tWork 4 to 5 days per week for 6 months, physically in Shenzhen.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
-\tPrior internship experience in business analytics or related field
