- Ensures BSI's compliance to all relevant Accreditation requirements at all times.
- Ensure compliance to BSI's policies, technical and legal requirements and thereby protect BSI's brand reputation.
- Build and develop a capable resilient diverse and inclusive leadership team in sectors, leading the co-development and implementation of People Strategies that will ensure the recruitment, development and retention of the highest calibre professionals and leaders at all levels of the Operations team.
- Efficient utilization of resources and maintenance of process quality in line with BSI global practices.
- Skills development, maintenance and assessor/technical specialist accreditation.
- Order-book scheduling & utilisation of assessment capability across the field and within teams as appropriate.
- Customer service management (for delivery of Services).
- Identification and deployment of best practice, consolidated reporting and delivery of centralised services to support country cluster teams across the business.
- Enhanced service levels for predefined key client accounts.

- Contribution to development of strategy and operating plans that support the strategic business objectives.
- Develop and agree baseline performance targets together with Country Leader and cross-functions Leadership, in line with agreed business strategy and wider BSI performance expectations.
- Develop and agree accurate financial forecasts together with Country Leader, taking responsibility for meeting expectations of forecast accuracy.
- Manage the day-to-day operations, ensuring appropriate transparency, consistency, timeliness and compliance to procedures, covering the scope of functions. In particular:Optimise use of External Resource (AA) v Internal Resource (IA), giving BSI the best overall performance for delivery of the Services on time, within cost, to the defined quality of business outcome.Manage client relationships for the delivery of the Services using customer services ethos such that they receive (1) a high quality service, (2) a valuable service, and (3) an appropriate experience in engaging with BSI.In line with the strategy for managing accounts within the business, manage the delivery of enhanced service levels for predefined clients, including specialist reporting needs and team selection.
- Manage the accurate creation and timely reporting of Service Delivery performance to the Country Leader and wider parts of BSI, as part of the defined governance process.
- Leading and optimising the Service Delivery, in terms of structure, targets, capability and motivation to meet the ongoing needs of the business. In particular:Working collaboratively with the BSI Training team, identify and implement appropriate levels of training to maintain sufficient competency for assessor and tutor accreditation while also seeking to optimise productivity.Manage the external resource (ER) utilised in client-facing roles such that BSI's brand and customer satisfaction levels are maintained.
- Establish and maintain appropriate links with people in similar roles across Group, APAC, including aspects specifically coordinated through the Global teams, to facilitate exchange of data, information, knowledge and best practice.
- Ensure appropriate collaboration with the Asia Pacific countries.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the business strategy and multi-year plan, providing commercial thought leadership while ensuring the creation of business justifications and appropriate performance metrics.
