- You are responsible for the development of interfaces to existing data sources (SQL, file, API etc.)
- The development of data preparation, aggregation and cleansing pipelines (ETL) is also part of your tasks
- You are a cloud expert and specialist in at least one of the major hyperscalers (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- You have fundamental experience in the design and implementation of scalable cloud architectures, ideally in production environments
- You have worked hand-on with event and streaming technologies such as SQS, PubSub, EventHub and Kafka
- The documentation of data structures in a data dictionary is a matter of course for you
- As well as the storage of data in a central data store (SQL, No-SQL, Hadoop etc.)
- You will develop RESTful API services using established frameworks and standards (Flask, Swagger)
- You will be responsible for writing automated tests and documentation, as well as implementing CI/CD pipelines
- You have at least 8 years' experience in software development in an industrial environment and are up for the next big challenge
- Sound knowledge of Python, including libraries relevant to data science, is a prerequisite
- Knowledge of Java, Scala or Kotlin, as well as Machine Learning is desirable
- You have proven experience with SQL (Postgres, MySQL, Oracle) as well as No-SQL (Mongo DB) databases
- You are familiar with Big Data technologies - especially in the Hadoop ecosystem
- You already have solid experience with container technologies and micro-services, as well as cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- You are a strong leader with a proven track record of professional success and have experience in building and leading teams and project management
- As an excellent communicator, you are in constant communication with stakeholders, the team and the general public in German (at least B2) and English
- You have a high level of result and customer orientation and are willing to travel for projects from time to time
