- Execute the steps necessary to setup business development conversations with suppliers on Wayfair
- Communicating with suppliers (email, phone) as needed throughout setup process
- Managing relationships with our external partners who provide supplier leads and resources for suppliers
- Problem solve challenges or trends as they arise
- Report on progress of the Acquisition team, including successes and learnings
- Work with cross-functional teams to drive a better supplier experience
- Influence the strategy and planning for the Asia-based Supplier Acquisition team
- 0-2 years out of undergrad with relevant work or internship experience (strong preference for experience within an e-commerce organization)
- Fluency in English both written and verbal
- Ability to communicate and feel comfortable speaking directly with owners and executives of large companies
- Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
- A highly curious self-starter capable of achieving goals in an unstructured environment. Hustle is vital
- Collaborative by nature; ability to build relationships and buy-in to drive change effectively in a positive manner
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
- Analytical thinker who looks for and finds answers in the data

We're seeking highly analytical, passionate, and self-motivated individuals to join our China Asia Partner Solutions team. Asia Partner Solutions at Wayfair is a nimble, fast-paced, ambitious team and drives real-time, material impact on the business. You must have an interest in innovating to solve business problems creatively and a willingness to hit the ground running.
For this role, we are seeking a problem-solving, entrepreneurial individual to manage the supplier acquisition and business partnership development for our Asia-based Supplier program. In this role, you'll work with external partners, our suppliers, and internal cross-functional teams to set up and onboard suppliers onto Wayfair. You will nimbly navigate conversations with new vendors by leveraging data dashboards, category-specific knowledge, and Wayfair value props. You will own a large pipeline of potential suppliers, and your goal is to source and convert new leads into motivated suppliers. In addition to your acquisition work, a portion of your time will be spent working on strategic projects focused on driving more results, more efficiently.
Our environment is fast-paced, and requires someone who is hungry, flexible, detail-oriented, analytical, and possesses strong communication skills. You'll strengthen your pitch and negotiation skills through direct conversations with suppliers, and by attending trade shows and offline events in main e-commerce hubspots in China
