- This position exists within the Clarios Global IT team and is the SPOC in Asia for all analytics activities including requirement intake, business relationship, project delivery, small demand fulfillment, end users support.
- This position acts as the representative in Asia, who closely works with Asia IT team to support Asia business and work as the bridge between regional IT and Global Analytics team.This role will apply proven analytical mindset, business acumen, communication skills, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of best practices to provide data-driven analytics solutions to empower business decision-making across the region on all levelsThis role will interface with the Analytics Technical Delivery team in the requirement definition, identification and prioritization of needed data sets or data set enhancements, to support regional analytics projects. This role requires a team member who is confident, perseverant, inspirational, disciplined, and dependable. In addition, this individual needs to be highly collaborative, a strong communicator and always on the lookout for continuous improvement opportunities.
- Manage projects and small demand tasks effectively and provide active support in estimation, risk management and issue resolution
- Develop, maintain, enhance and automate analytics solution which enables effective business decision making with hands-on experience
- Drive change management activities including end user training and citizen development that help the overall analytics adoption in the region
- Work with Asia IT leadership to contribute to the regional IT team transformation toward being data and AI capable, translate customer pain points into analytics and AI solutions and innovations
- Serve as analytics SME and present analytics solutions in a coherent and clear format to audience
- Support regional users in break/fix instances
- Engage directly with business stakeholders, process specialists, and users to elicit and document requirements, understand business priorities, and identify strategic initiatives, to enable the development of effective and timely operational dashboards and analytic solutions
- Drive regional analytics strategy and roadmap including key decisions on delivery practices, tools, platform and technical solution requirements
- Works with the architecture team to ensure appropriate architectural runway is in place for productive offshore development
- Lead the regional solution delivery according to the global standards
- Responsible for executing analytics research and development of proof of concept
- Accountable for solution delivery against all quality and security standards
- Understand the current and future state of analytics and provide thought leadership and an innovative approach to delivery of analytics solutions for the region
- Maintain appropriate documentation, traceability and configurations; follow record retention policies
- Bachelor's degree in data management, computer science or related field
- Minimum of ten (10) years of professional relevant experience
- End-to-end experience in data warehousing
- Demonstrated experience in creating business values through analytics solutions
- Ability to work in a diverse matrix environment with multiple IT, Analytics and business user groups cross various time zones
- Ability to be successful in a fast paced, high energy environment
- Experience managing multiple projects
- Experience managing business stakeholders in leadership level
- Document functional or data conversion requirements
- SQL coding
- Power BI or Tableau data visualization building experience
