Key Responsibilities
Experience and familiarize with all consumer electronics manufacturing & assembly process
Recommends corrective actions and implements changes
Identifies and mitigates risks; develops and implements risk mitigation plans
May manage challenging vendor relationships
Responsible for direct communication to relevant senior stakeholders
Drive factory to improve yield (knows how to do yield bridge)
Drive factory to perform UPH improvement (Line balancing, Cycle time reduction)
Drive factory for line layout
Work with factory to perform line qualification
Drive the Lean Six Sigma approach with our JDM and EMS partners in region.
Early involvement from NPI stage (EVT, DVT, PVT) through mass production and provide design review (Tolerance Stack Up Analysis, TSA and Design For Assembly, DFA) to Engineering team
Requirements
Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience
10+ years' Process Engineering Experience
Manufacturing Process Engineering experience in the electronics manufacturing area
Strong oral and written communication in Mandarin and English
Must be able to travel to and from EMS/JDM factories in China region
Occasional travel outside of the region is required to work with design teams and suppliers
Candidate will be self-motivated and have the ability to access and plan his/her schedule according to business priorities
