Summary
We are actively seeking an exceptional candidate to fill the open-rank Director role, specializing in metabolic disease pharmacology.

The candidate will take on a leadership role in managing a dedicated team and ensuring the successful delivery of metabolic disease projects, including but not limited to diabetes and obesity.

This position presents an exciting opportunity to collaborate with colleagues across WuXi AppTec and global clients, driving forward new business opportunities and making drug discovery against metabolic disease more effective and efficient.

Responsibilities:

Project Management:

The duties encompass overseeing every aspect of a preclinical pharmacology project, including the design and execution of studies, data interpretation and high-quality reports adhering to regulatory requirements and uphold stringent quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Capability Building:
Drive the expansion and enhancement of our metabolic disease pharmacology platform.

Stay informed and direct innovative research and development initiatives, ensuring the pioneering position of our metabolic disease platform and thus offering our clients the most advanced, comprehensive, and effective solutions in the field.

Business Winning:

Recognize and cultivate new business opportunities in the field of metabolic disease research in close collaboration with our BD team.

Foster and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded, thereby driving business growth and client retention.

Strategic Leadership:
Lead and inspire a team of scientists and technicians. Provide guidance and training to team members, enhancing their skills and knowledge to ensure top performance and continuous growth.

任职资格:

Qualifications:
1.. or . in biology, pharmacology, or other relevant fields (. preferred)

2.At least 2-year experience in a pharmaceutical, biotech, or CRO setting, focusing on metabolic disease pharmacology (in vivo preferred).

3.Deep understanding in metabolic disease (. diabetes and obesity) biology, assays, and animal models with track record
4.Proficiency in English writing and speaking
5.Excellent communication, and collaboration skills.
