- Transfer and develop written technical information (production requirements, technology transfer document) needed to meet JM standard, customer and government expectations and requirements.
- Analyse and identify opportunities to reduce metal loss and increase production effectiveness through design and process changes.
- The incumbent must be keenly aware of the maintenance requirements and the upkeep of the process equipment. He/she must work with the maintenance department to ensure top performance of plant equipment.
- Identify equipment needs and recommends solution to management.
- Provide training to operators on engineering standards and technical skills.
- Troubleshoot materials, process and production problems, making recommendations for resolution. Problem solving using a quality system.
- Coordinate with other function in order to establish and maximize allocation of resources, costs and time frames for process.
- Conduct translation from English to Chinese on production procedures and other required reports.
- Recommend and implement environmental, health and safety procedures and programs in accordance with company and legal requirements.
- Participate and assist PGM stock take with production area.

- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
- Greater than ten (5) years of experience in a chemical plant environment preferably with specific experience in reaction / distillation operations and mechanical rotating equipment.
- Previous experience in managing technical personnel.
- Ability to provide technical assistance for equipment / instrumentation operating problems with strong exposure to plant maintenance and plant operations.
- Knowledge of predictive maintenance technologies and their applications in determining.
- Ability to work under pressure and influence in a fairly matrix organization
- Effective communication skills and strong team player
- Good spoken and written English
