- Support global customers and Sales in exploring complaints and developing new product ideas. Interact with th Sales and customers to identify the best possible solution.
- Ensure effective and efficient communication with the concerned functions at KLM, such as R&D, QA, MCM, and others as needed.
- Lead and define product strategy for chain application for example.
- Give technical guidance during project concept reviewing.
- Understand product development process and give constructive suggestions to improve it.
- Handle the lab facilities properly according to WI. Prepare lab samples for local product development according to the instruction. Document experiment details clearly and properly.
- Carry out maintenance and calibration work of lab equipment's and test rigs.
- Test lab/pilot samples according to the project requirement list. Document experiment details and results clearly and properly and to ensure accurate and clear record of experimental data.
- Carry out new product development projects, follow up and give technical guidance to production during new product realization process.
- Contact supplier to request raw materials samples. Test raw materials according to the test instruction.
- Ensure maintenance of testing equipment's, responsible for weekly & monthly cleaning, sorting duties, and related lab 5S work.
- Lead according to the Kluber Guidelines for leadership & teamwork while focusing on the Kluber competencies.
- The employees are to be motivated continuously and target oriented, to be enhanced in their achievements and readiness for their tasks and to qualify for future higher qualified position. The current MBOs are to be realized.
- Documenting and ensuring the employees' potentials with the support of the HR department.
- Operational individual training in company knowledge and techniques thus enhancing the employee's knowledge and capabilities.
- Continuous, consequent and task oriented guidance of the employee with the view of the set targets and goals.
- Independent implementation of employee criticism and appraisal meetings with the support of the HR department.
- Care and support of the employees to ensure good results of their work.
- Master/PhD degree in chemistry, chemical engineer or relative field;
- At least 3 years laboratory experience in multinational companies;
- Familiar with literature & patent search, familiar with analysis method;
- Strong willingness for R&D technical and management work
- Excellent communication and coordination skills;
- Fluent English – oral and written;
- Good PC skills;
