- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business targets in the battery industry across the Asia Pacific region.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key battery Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) such as CATL, BYD, Panasonic, LG Chem, and other prominent players in the industry.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within the battery industry, leveraging existing contacts and networks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of sales activities and provide technical support when needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to provide insights and recommendations for business growth.
- Conduct regular market analysis and identify potential customers, providing timely feedback to the management team.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, negotiate contracts, and close deals with customers.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to enhance brand visibility and establish strategic partnerships.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, MBA, or a related field. Advanced degrees are preferred.
- Proven track record in battery industry sales, preferably in the Asia Pacific region.
- Strong familiarity with battery sales channels and market dynamics in Asia.
- Established relationships with key battery OEMs such as CATL, BYD, Panasonic, LG Chem, and others.
- Background in chemical and materials industry, with a deep understanding of battery technologies and materials.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term business relationships.
- Self-motivated and result-oriented, with a drive to achieve sales targets and exceed customer expectations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese is highly preferred, as well as proficiency in other Asian languages.
