- Evaluate credit risk of various counterparty's, including but not limited to, Financial Institutions, Funds and Corporate clients, etc
- Prepare and participate in the due diligence of potential counterparty
- Lead and perform regular counterparty credit risk reporting & consolidation on firm level, participate in collateral management and margin call process, as well as credit system implementation
- Perform credit rating assessment and approve for client's application for respective credit limits
- Good knowledge and understanding of OTC derivative products, variation margin, potential future exposure
- Propose and approve key credit terms, and participate in negotiating documentation terms (ISDA/CSA, Repo, GSMLA)
- Provide input to counterparty credit policy and procedures and revise where necessary
- Familiar withrelevant Basel/HKSFC/HKMA regulatory rules
- Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in Risk management, Financial Analysis, Business or other related disciplines, CFA or FRM certification is preferred
- Minimum 5 – 8 years relevant experience in counterparty credit risk management in leading financial institutions, preferably with independent approving authority
- Possess good knowledge of financial products (i.e. Equities, Futures & Options, FICC, OTC derivatives, Commodities, etc)
- Sound understanding of credit risk management
- Team oriented & self-motivated
- Strong verbal and written communication skills & language skills, excellent command of English and Chinese
