Cambly is a site that offers English tutoring on demand. People from all over the world can become members and pay to have an ESL (English as a second language) tutor whenever they need one. They have an app that is available one both Google Play and the App Store where you can video chat with a tutor easily and almost instantly.

There you can make a reservation to speak with me or if you happen to see me online just request to chat with me. I am a flexible teacher and we can have open conversation or it can be more specific and geared to preparing for a job interview or admissions interview.

If you would like to join Cambly as a tutor here are some of the PROS and CONS!




CAMBLY PRO: You get to chat with people from all over the world and make new friends. It is a great way to get practice in a with foreigner while learning a new language you might not have access to in your daily life. 

CAMBLY CON: Even if your open to talking about many subjects, Cambly is not a dating site or a cheap alternative to PSO. A draw back about Cambly is it has been known to attract a few flashers due to it's free 15 minute trial period and women are prone to sexual harassment from weird guys.

CAMBLY PRO: FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE

CAMBLY CON: Pays lower than other online language sites. Only 17 to 20 cents a minute which works out to be 10 dollars an hour. 

CAMBLY PRO: IT PAYS WEEKLY, unlike many other sites that only pay monthly.

IF THE PAY IS LOW WHAT IS THE APPEAL FOR TUTORS?

The schedule is flexible and there are no mandatory hours like with other websites. I am also teaching for EF, which would have already fired me if I canceled classes like you are allowed to due on Cambly. 

Overall, because of it's lack of demands and it's flexible schedule. It's great to know anytime you got a few hours you can turn on the computer and make a bit of money. 

No one should use Cambly as a way to substitute there main income
