- Give input & support GSM for e.g. global additives, industry, product line, digitalization and sustainability strategy, etc.
- Responsible for implementation of strategies (e.g. global industry strategies)
- Owner of global product know-how per industry and facilitate dissemination
- Defines core portfolio & its value prop per industry
- Leads entry into new segments within the industry
- Responsible to evaluate & drive portfolio fit for the industry: identify gaps by driving ideation, push existing growth potential products
- Understand customer needs, market & regulatory trends and outline & prioritize opportunities for product development per industry
- Derive innovation & product development directions per industry
- Develop & own business cases for products assigned as global launch responsible
- Accountable (& responsible) to drive & implement global launches for industry and across industries & launch package definition
- Consolidate industry specific market intell, and feed this info to GSM / GPLE
- Exchange and validate market trends with Disper.
- Provide input to market maps, evaluation and sign off for industry
- Drive product literature & provide content for global technical trainings, global webinars for industry (evaluate analytics from webinars) together with GPLE
- Participate in selected internal/ external events (e.g. conferences, industry groups)
- Drive & steer global new biz development with existing / new products: visit customers
- Define the communication needs for the industry and share with GPLE / GSM
- Ensure online/offline representation of Additives with active MarCom
- Drive best practice exchange across regions & their implementation incl webinars
- Set target & base price for new products (can delegate to MM, with guidance on cost from GPM and consulting GLPE)
