The Mechanical Strength Analyses- team is located inside the Elevator Mechanics Tribe, all together we take care of the backbone of all our elevator products. Our job is to create the solid designs and reliable mechanical structures that are needed for high-quality elevators.
The strength analysis team is taking care of all calculations requested by our stakeholders that are needed for our high-volume elevators. The team composition and the relevant stakeholders are global and English is the company language. The work is distributed and managed with online tools, and we use online calls and meetings for daily discussions and collaborations.
We are now looking for a Sr Engineer, Mechanics FEM
Tasks and responsibilities
-Assist calculation needs of the team by performing strenght calculations with software or analitically
-Develop calculation procedures/methods/documentationfor selected components

In order to be successful in this role you
Should possess software FEA (Static, Linear, Non-Linear analysis) hands-on experience in ANSYS
Should possess analytical calculation skills, possibly with hands-on experience in MathCAD
Should possess good subject knowledge of Strength of Materials, Material Standards
Should be able to correctly interpret the results and support/guide the team into a better design.
Should understands Product change management.
Should have positive energy and plenty of willingness to learn
Should have good communication skills needed to collaborate and explain to others
Should have good collaboration skills, ability to explain difficult concepts in simple works
Should have good social skills, to adjust the technical language based on what the situation requires
Should have excellent English language skills, our working environment is multicultural
Should have several years of experience in the elevator industry or Mechanical Domain Industry
