In this role, you have the opportunity to:

• Be the procurement representative and team leader during Innovation & Development activities of product solutions as well as during the lifecycle.
• By taking part in new product development and collaborating with the cross functional team and business stakeholders the Procurement Business Partner governs one group of Procurement Project Managers for China local for local products developed at the optimal cost level while delivering the right value for the consumer.
• You are supporting this by applying value engineering, early supplier involvement and the design-for-excellence methodology, as well as ensuring a competitive supplier landscape with strategic sourcing and support in negotiations.
• In this role you get to know all aspects of the business E2E value chain and can be part of product solutions from the very start until the end of life.

You're responsibilities are

• Representing as PIC SZ procurement team leader in the Grooming and Beauty procurement team to define, execute and monitor our procurement strategy well established and implemented in China LfL projects.
• Representing as procurement leader in PIC SZ I&D center to lead the team of Procurement Project Managers to manage the assigned projects and initiatives by collaborating with x-functional team in G&B and relevant global functions.
• Developing the capability and capacity of the procurement project manager team in PIC SZ I&D center to support the transformation of overall company and business growth in the Grooming and Beauty China market.
• Cooperating and aligning with global procurement functions include global business PPM team and commodity team to drive procurement excellence and contribute to new project launch and product lifecycle supplier & cost management for better business results.
• Support and facilitate Supplier Enabled Innovation, leveraging our suppliers to bring innovations to the market in an accelerated way, both from strategic roadmap alignment between key suppliers and business category leads and bringing engineering teams together for innovation workshops on value adding topics.
• Ensuring the optimized E2E TCO (cost, quality, availability) in product solutions and business creation through the full life cycle, utilizing Design for Excellence (DfX).
• Representing procurement in new product development, matching suppliers against business needs and leading supplier selection ensuring adherence to the Business Procurement strategy.
• Identifying and executing supplier improvement projects to control and mitigate procurement related risks (quality, availability, and cost).
• Identifying supplier manufacturability issues by collaborating with suppliers and implementing feedback with SQE and Engineering.
• Supporting the negotiation teams with conceptual and fact-based information and opportunities to drive significant structural cost reduction improvement.
• Creating a procurement strategy that enables the business road map.
• Providing input to the Commodity teams regarding the supply base characteristics, based on the business requirements.

• The Grooming & Beauty procurement team and based in Shenzhen. You will be leading a young and energetic team, we have continuous opportunities to drive early procurement involvement on new platform designs and product enhancements, while focusing on the End2End approach during supplier selection process and product lifecycle management activities. You do this together with the full cross functional team in the business. You will be reporting to the Grooming & Beauty Procurement Business Partner, based in The Netherlands.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably with Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering background.
• 10+ years' experience in procurement role(s) and a good track creating and executing a procurement strategy in a consumer electronics goods environment driving concrete results.
• 3+ years managing and coaching a team of procurement professionals.
• 5+ years Project Management experience in a global business environment with a large stakeholder field
• Familiar with managing supplier relationships, leading suppliers in new product development, and leading supplier improvement projects.
• Expertise in Value Engineering, Design for eXcellence, LEAN, Statistical process control and/or Six Sigma
• Strong data analysis skills are required.
• Strong organization, change management and communication skills are required.
• Excellent English and Chinese language skills are required.
• Bonus skills and experiences: Experience with Agile development, Experience with Open Innovation business models, Procurement digitization and AI application experience
