- Develop, maintain and improve objective and transparency of procurement activities with the financial statement results
- Support month-end close/reporting requirements for financial data, including journal entries/accruals
- Conduct variance analysis and prepare monthly reports that compare budgeted/forecasted costs to actual costs
- Evaluate actual results and project impact on full year operating plan
- Prepare net material, VAVE and indirect material budgets and forecasts, collaborating with Purchasing, that align with Corporate objectives
- Support cross-functional lean teams cost reduction initiatives, including financial analysis and realized savings validation
- Participate in special projects as needed or assigned
- Financial consolidation and related analytics of the regional annual budget and forecasts to include income statement, balance sheets and cash flows
- Preparation of monthly reports for revenue and material performance: Long term agreements, volume rebates, cost reductions and economic impacts
- Ensure accurate and timely financial data is available to support customer's requests and decision making
- Special Projects and ad hoc requests as needed
- May, on occasion, be required to perform duties other than those specified in this description
- Foster a data driven decision making environment by actively sharing and building trust across multiple capabilities.
- Partner with team to eliminate manual reporting activity.
- Provide data insights to help correct the root cause of problems.
- Support global harmonization and collaboration
