Design and implement strategies, methods, processes andsystems for the development and improvement of the function.
Execute procurement reporting/controlling function toprovide a regular management information system and optimize controllingprocesses.
Responsibilities:
1.Selfdependent and reliable execution of the reporting/controlling function toprovide a regular (management) information system and to establish datatransparency within defined area of responsibility.
2.Adherenceto and deployment of superordinated requirements (guidelines, KPIs) andcontrolling tools to secure a consequent process compliance.
3.Developmentof complex and comprehensive (ad-hoc) analyses, concepts, presentations, andother support to lay an objective and reliable foundation for managementdecisions.
4.Increaseof transparency about Procurement activities and occurrences within assignedarea of responsibility to assist and support business challenges and processeson functional level. Compilation of analyses and derivation of proposals/hypothesesfor improvement of material field strategies.
5.Optimizationand efficiency enhancement of the controlling process under selection, development,and implementation of appropriate controlling tools (following superordinatedrequirements) for the assigned area of responsibility. Leading/participating inworkshops and projects to collect information and to further develop thecontrolling function.
6.Coordinationand controlling of the budget planning for the assigned unit(s) (worldwide), inalignment with other relevant organizational units, cross-functions andsuperordinated units.
7.Ensureknowledge transfer (guidelines, tools, etc.) and implementation withinprocurement and cross function teams.
8.Assuresystematic exchange of best practice information within Siemens and benchmarkpartner, and constantly challenge status quo and bring compelling solutions toincrease efficiencies and achieve process optimization
9.PromoteDigitalization culture and implement Digitalization to improve procurement process/operations.
10.Other tasksassigned by superior.
Requirements:
At least 5 years procurement/commercial experience.
Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Finance.
