- Develop acoustic structures and systems
- Evaluate hardware and define system requirements
- Root cause complex problems that may span interfaces between hardware and software
- Analyse product data, test product samples, and lead the optimisation of design
- Communicate and liaise with contract manufacturers and vendors
- Contribute to the development of the technology roadmap
- Develop and mentor junior engineers
- An undergraduate or postgraduate degree in acoustics
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant audio product development experience
- A proven track record of supporting the development of products from exploration through to mass production
- Proficient in building tools for system simulation and data analysis using Matlab
- Experience of performing and interpreting audio measurements in electronic and acoustic domains
- Knowledge of the fundamentals of digital signal processing
- Experience with manipulating physical prototypes to achieve accurate acoustic results
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills with experience articulating technical concepts in cross-functional teams
- The ability to travel within China and overseas when required, to meet the needs of the project and the business
- Software programming experience
- Knowledge of Python
- Familiarity with simulation software such as COMSOL
- Experience with supporting high volume production in consumer electronics

As a Senior Audio Engineer within this newly formed product development organisation you will be responsible for developing the acoustic systems at the heart of the industry's most innovative ultra-portable products. In the process, you will work with some of the brightest minds in the business across multiple disciplines of software, hardware and acoustics.
