    What You Will Achieve

    Working with a dynamic team of Logistics and Supply Chain experts, you will play a critical role in planning and managing the efficient flow of products and services through the Pfizer supply chain cycle. You will ensure that the products arrive on time and within acceptable quality parameters meeting the desired marketing and financial objectives. Through your extensive knowledge in logistics management, you will guide the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistics processes and system to meet customer requirements.

    As a Manager, your breadth of knowledge on internal or external business challenges will help us improve our products, processes and services. Your will guide us to lead projects by meeting objectives and preparing forecasts for resource requirements. Your risk-taking ability will help us advance new concepts and methodologies. You will provide technical guidance and oversight to team members and help in problem solving. You will provide technical guidance, coaching and oversight to team members to fulfill their day to day responsibilities and will also manage their overall development by arranging training and development programs.

    How You Will Achieve It

  • Manage multiple projects and ongoing work activities within the department typically involving cross-functional representatives.
  • Provide technical, functional guidance and oversight to team members within the department.
  • Develop andanalyzemetrics to monitor operational performance against stated goals for logistics responsibilities.
  • Lead and direct Logistics and Distribution operations for all finished goods for the market including clearance of goods, receipt at warehouse, warehousing, distribution to Pfizer's customers.
  • Lead supplier selection and contract implementation, compliance and performance management processes as applicable to the distribution center.
  • Contribute and lead global, cross-functional continuous improvement strategies to improve productivity and exceed customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure timely availability of materials to support the production campaigns with tolling partners.
  • Oversee the deployment of controlled temperature shipping technologies to support business and operational unit requirements.
  • Populate select monthly mandate dashboards and present progress in required forums.
  • Obtain cross functional requirements for the development of new product launch strategies.
  • Enhance quality and compliance on a site and patient basis utilizing risk and mitigation plans.
  • Support decision making on country feasibility and study strategy in advance of study starts.
  • Analyze and compare information from multiple sources and identify cause and effect relationships supporting Corrective Action / Preventative Action investigations.
  • Lead meetings with forwarders and quality to resolve logistics incidents, ad-hoc queries and it is the link between external logistics operations and internal Pfizer operations.
  • Manage the performance of direct reports through goal setting, ongoing assessment and coaching.
  • Support and engage in the development of talent and capabilities of your team members and seek out training & development assignments for individuals who are capable of advancing to other positions.
  • Qualifications

    Must-Have

  • Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of experience.
  • Experience and understanding of system validation/software development lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results with stakeholders of varying levels.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills and strong competency withtools.
  • People management experience.
  • Nice-to-Have

  • Master's degree and relevant pharmaceutical experience.
  • Advanced training in project management, supply chain management, scientific or clinical disciplines, business administration and/or people development.
  • In depth understanding of the regulatory guidelines impacting the logistics system requirement.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of advanced level of system application and products.
