In this role, you have the opportunity to

As a change and configuration engineer, you are overseeing and executing product configuration management activities in the PLM system (Windchill). The objective of the role is to ensure configuration management is executed according to the applicable quality standards, leading to a complete and consistent Design History File and Device Manufacturing Record.

You are responsible for

• Creation and set up of projects and upload product data in the PLM system
• Support and instruct users of the PLM system.
• Instantiation and tailoring of the project deliverable master list
• Responsible for creating and maintaining Product Bill of Material in coordination with Engineering and Operations teams.
• Configuration of the project change requests
• Definition of service parts
• Raise the Maturity level according to QMS requirements.
• Contribute to the functional knowledge base and continuous improvement plan.

The Innovation Team of Mother and Child Care and Women's Health (MCC/WH) focuses on the development of medically and non-medically endorsed products, supporting parents and children in their first 1000 days, giving them the best start in life to set the stage for a healthy future. The Innovation Team is responsible for the development and realization of new product propositions, in collaboration with other functions within Philips and external partners. The MCC/WH set-up is international, with supply centers and strategic suppliers spread around the world. The primary working location for this position is the Product Innovation Center in Shenzhen, China.

The role is part of the Project Management Office (PMO) and reports into the PMO lead.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

Competences

Knowledge of PLM (Windchill), Change Management (CMII), Part Management, BOM management, Document Management and Configuration Management are essential for this function. You execute tasks yourself and as key user of the PLM system support project team members from other functions to execute efficient and proper Configuration Management.

Education

Bachelor degree in engineering, CMII Certification preferred.

Experience

• Experience in Windchill as key user
• Experience with Configuration Management
• Experience in PTC Creo is preferred
• Knowledge of ERP/SAP is preferred

Personal skills

• Flexible, but accurate and consistent on content
• Communicative, capable of transferring knowledge/standards
• Affinity with R&D product development
• Planning and prioritizing own work
• Fluent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
