- Under limited supervision with defined training:
- Mechanical assembly of laser
- Perform optical alignment of laser tube, and/or condition laser beam through optic train
- Perform electronic tuning of RF Modules/Trays
- Test laser assemblies to manufactures specification
- Meet / beat productivity goals as set forth by daily schedule
- Record pass/fail data to an information database
- Notify area supervisor for any quality issues identified in parts/tools used
- Maintain cleanliness of direct and surrounding work area (5S)
- Be a team player
- Other work arranged by the leader.
- Read, understand, and adhere to Procedure Documents (drawings, BOM's, work instructions)
- Familiar with electronic test equipment (multi-meter, o-scope, power supply)
- Ability to use small hand tools
- Basic computer skills (familiarity with Windows software, ability to navigate various programs)
- Positive Attitude: willingness to help, receptive to input, continuous improvement mindset
- Attention to Detail: high level of quality & workmanship
- Soldering experience
- Lean Manufacturing and 5S practice
- Strict compliance with the quality, occupational safety and environmental regulations.
- Implementation of the instructions of the quality / environmental management representative and the occupational safety specialist.
- 1 to 3 years of related experience
