Purpose:
This position focuses on ensuring adherence to quality standards, minimizing costs, and enhancing customer satisfaction through strict compliance with procedures and processes.
Key Objectives:
Main Responsibilities:
- Overseeing process quality control, audits, quality issue resolution, continuous improvement, and ensuring product process quality.
- Taking charge of the APU's quality performance and leading the closure of non-conformities (NCR/internal and external) utilizing the QRQC methodology.
- Developing and implementing quality objectives, engaging various departments for continuous enhancement.
- Providing leadership and support for problem-solving, resource management, coaching, and mentoring team members.
- Managing quality systems, processes, and procedures to ensure product quality and safety.
- Defining standards, quality control plans, FMEA, validating technical specifications, and preparing quality indicators/performance reports.
- Having the authority to suspend any process not aligned with QCP or customer requirements.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of solid experience in manufacturing quality control and continuous improvement.
- Previous roles as a quality engineer or manufacturing engineer in the smart card industry are advantageous.
- Experience in project management or Lean & 6 Sigma is beneficial.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in an Engineering discipline.
- Proficiency in English (oral, written, and for communication via email/phone) and ability to convey information into local languages at factories.
Technical Skills:
- Quality Control Plan/FMEA Risk coverage.
- Problem-solving/FTA/QRQC/8D.
- ISO 9001/IATF 16949.
- Manufacturing/factory quality process auditing.
- Product and process qualification.
